Winston Family 2.1: Epilogue of Chapter 2

Mushi watched the bundle of snot from afar. How could they replace him with something that can’t even groom himself?!

It wasn’t fair! Mushi had been the sole provider of the family since they moved, and now “Grandma” Mimi sent this little worm a doll and nothing for poor Mushi.
“I’m not going to let this little monster take away my family,” Mushi huffed. “I’m still the cutest!”

Mushi walked out and saw that Roberto was back at writing again. The poor man was never going to stop until he had his bookstore!

Mushi rubbed up against Roberto’s leg and purred.
“Not now, Mushi!” He grunted and went back to writing.
Mushi lowered his ears and walked off.  Maybe Aurora would play with him. He was the one that gave her that mouse the other day and she did scream in joy when she saw it. He was a little hurt when she threw it out the window though. How inconsiderate!

Mushi meowed at Aurora and placed his paws on her leg.
“No, Mushi!” She swatted him down.
Why was it that no one wanted to play with him? He was the cutest! He was the fluffiest! His eyes narrowed. It was due to that baby, wasn’t it?! That was why they didn’t want his attention. All they cared about was the baby’s needs. Was it true? Did Brady replace Mushi?

“Hey, fluffball!” Mushi cringed. He knew that voice.
He turned around and saw the raccoon with a huge smirk on his face.

“Didn’t I tell you to get lost?!”
The  raccoon walked over to him. “You better be nice to me. You’re going to need a friend for when you get tossed on the streets.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Now that your owners have a baby, they don’t need you. You’re washed up! You’re old news! You think that extra layer of blubber is going to keep you in this family?”
Mushi lowered his ears back. “What do you know about families?!”
The raccoon laughed. “You may be the only family here, but there are other worlds. I’ve seen cats like you get tossed out  all the time. That hunting skill will only take you so far before you keel over.”
Mushi arched his back. “Get out of here!”
“Don’t say I didn’t warn ya!” The raccoon trotted off.

Mushi remained in a horrible mood for the next several days. It was Brady’s birthday and Aurora and Robert stopped everything to have the stupid baby as the center of attention. Mushi looked up and saw a deer. He was still miffed at the raccoon and decided to take it out on the deer.

“Get out of here!” Mushi hissed.
The deer looked down and nuzzled Mushi, causing him to topple over. The deer raced off before Mushi could get back up.
“You better run!” Mushi called out, licking the dirt off his fur.

Mushi walked inside and saw that Brady was now a toddler. He was already attached to his doll that grandma Mimi gave him. Apparently, the doll was named Sammy.

Mushi walked over to Brady, already in a defensive position.
“Lets get this straight. I’m the cute one. You’re below me,” Mushi said.
Brady giggled and petted Mushi. “Kitty!”

Maybe you’re not such a bad guy after all, Mushi thought to himself. Maybe we can make this work.

Winston Family 02: Shaningans and New Member!

Aurora woke up and started to work on her sculpture. She was determined to get a consignment shop opened up and to sell all her paintings and sculptures. She was even hoping to eventually paint Mushi and sculpt Roberto out of stone.
Even with the busy task of sculpting, she was starting to feel lonely. There was no one out there except the paparazzi and firefighters. Maybe it was time to finally start considering a family.

Roberto got up and served some pancakes. He finished his meal and took a bath. Afterwards, he sat down and started to work on his novel. He was going to get a bookstore even if it killed him!

Mushi polished his claws on the scratching post and took out his pink mouse toy to practice his hunting. He knew he had to help bring in the cash if his owners wanted to open up a consignment shop and bookstore. In the middle of practicing, Mushi noticed something in the night.

Oh no! Mushi thought to himself. That raccoon will surly cause some destruction!
Mushi leaped into action and confronted the raccoon walking towards the trashcan.

“I will give you ten seconds to leave before I take action,” Mushi hissed.
“Or what?” The raccoon laughed. “You will chase me away? You expect me to be scared of a fat piece of fluff?!”
That made Mushi cringe. Using the “F” word on a Persian was worse than insulting his own mother!
“I’m not fat! I’m big boned!” Mushi lunged at the raccoon.

The fight was brutal. The raccoon was stronger than he let on. But, there could only be one victorious winner.

“That wasn’t a fair fight!” The raccoon snapped. “You sat on me!”
Mushi licked his paw, rubbing in the fact that he won. “And I will do it again. Now leave!”
With that, the raccoon left with his tail between his legs.

The next night was even more adventurous.

Roberto woke up and saw the litter box was stolen! “What in tarnation?! Who would steal a used litter box?!”
He got a new litter box and installed a burglar alarm. The last thing he needed was for someone to steal his computer and all his writings.

Aurora began painting again, but the thought of having a child had not left her mind.

After finishing her painting, she seduced Roberto into the idea of having a child. The baby could open a hospital and become a doctor. It would help populate this lonely world and would give Mushi someone to talk to. Roberto agreed that it would be wise to have a child now before they were too old to have one.

After the romantic moment, Aurora went back to her painting. She didn’t want to sculpt due to fear it might be dangerous for the child. Mushi sensed there was a change going on after he saw Aurora with a bigger belly and loose fitting clothes.

The next three days were uneventful. Roberto worked on his Drama novel. Aurora lost interest in painting due to pregnancy aches. Mushi was busy learning to hunt.

That was when it happened. Aurora went into labor and since there was no hospital, they had the child on the home lot.

“It’s a boy!” Roberto exclaimed.
“He looks like a Brady to me.”
Great, now I have some cuteness competition, Mushi thought sourly.

This is my first attempt at a Sim story. If it’s too annoying, I will go back to making it more like a stats update though.
